We got started on Khan Academy!

We spent some time on Khan Academy this week practicing basic math concepts. This is a fantastic learning tool that will automatically differentiate for each student based on what they complete and how they do on each section. I have recommended the initial addition and subtraction videos and practice for the students in the Blue math group, and we will quickly move on from here. I encourage you to sign up as a coach for your child as there are some very comprehensive tracking tools that make it easy to see what your student needs work on. You are always welcome to log on from home: www.khanacademy.org. I had to change some of the usernames from what you originally sent me, and will get those sent home next week. This is great math practice for days when we do not assign formal homework, and, yes, - JUST FOR FUN!
