Summer Fun

Here are a few of the things my Seabury friends, family and I have been doing these first weeks of summer...

 I would say "Future Rock Star," but I think a gig at the Hard Rock makes him a CURRENT Rock Star. Not a bad way to kick off the summer!

 Here's a 2nd grader learning how to program an Arduino electronics board (my husband Mike's "experience" donation to the auction)

(We all came home with a *few* good books. LOL.)

And finally, checking out Big Sister A's downtown Tacoma mural capstone project with Mrs. T during our lunch break from the "Daily 5" conference at the Hotel Murano. We were learning more ways to differentiate while teaching reading and writing -- even the teachers never stop learning!

We've built friendships and grown into ourselves a little bit more:

And best of all, we've had A LOT of fun while we have accomplished so much!
