Thanks for the cardboard rolls!

Zippy and Shadow, our classroom Gerbils, want to say thanks for all the cardboard tubes you have sent in! They LOVE to chew these! We give them one a day and they often shred it within minutes. It keeps their teeth healthy, and it gets them out of their burrows where the kids can see them. (Although there have been some complaints during Mindfulness that we can hear them chewing while we are trying to concentrate on our breathing.) :-) We rotate the classroom "Duty Roster" weekly, so each Explorer will get a chance to be the classroom "Naturalist" and feed and care for the Gerbils for a week. We also sometimes have them join us for snack (in their exercise balls). Please keep the cardboard tubes coming!
