Celebrating Creativity, Courage and Collaboration: Dot Day 2016

Do you know Peter Reynolds' story The Dot?
Well, we do! It's a favorite here at Seabury, where we constantly explore and celebrate our inner artist and the masterpieces that hide inside each of us.
This wonderful children's book illustrates everyone's unique vision and ability to make art, and reminds us all that we should:
"Make your mark, and see where it takes you."

This book has such a huge following that International Dot Day http://www.thedotclub.org/dotday/ is now celebrated every September 15th(ish), and here's how we got in on the action this year:

If you've never read it, you can check out a video version of the story on YouTube:

If you have read it and love it as we do, here is the author's website, where you can get activity ideas and read more about Reynold's writing and where he gets his ideas:

Happy Dot Day!
